Whats your idea for your layout? Mine is a summer/60s vibe city with one side being a railway and the other side a city tramway.

1990s NZ Rail (pre-Tranz Rail) is my general theme.

I’m (still!) working on a modular NZ120 layout.

After years of not having enough time, money or space to build a model railway (always seem to have only 2 of the 3) Im now planning on making a model railway in part of my garage.
The current plan is Staircase viaduct and possibly Arthurs Pass. Trying to keep them fairly accurate size wise to scale but the station and yard may need to be shrunk slightly to fit in my shed.
Dont have a time period planned yet. But if I choose the right track layout it should be able to run rollingstock from the 1960s through to the late 1990s without looking too out of place.
